Fleur de Lis Theatre Company reimagines well-loved classical works, as well as producing original pieces based in history, utilising visually spectacular skills such as; stage combat, puppetry, physical theatre, dance, stunts and so much more. Our productions blend tradition with innovation, captivating modern audiences. 

We proudly champion arts education across the UK, through expert-led workshops and actively nurture careers in the creative industries by providing employment, networking and professional development opportunities. 

Fleur de Lis was founded in 2021 by Megan Barnes-Rolf (CEO/Artistic Director) and Christian Reid (CSO/Co-Artistic Director).

Company Director - Megan Barnes-Rolf

Megan Barnes-Rolf (she/her)Company Director

Megan Barnes-Rolf is the visionary force behind our company, serving as both Artistic Director and CEO. With a keen eye for innovative trends and a deep passion for the arts, Meg sets the strategic direction and creative tone of our organisation. Her leadership ensures we stay ahead of the curve while fostering a culture of creativity and excellence. Beyond her impressive professional skills, Meg's warm and approachable nature makes her an inspiring leader and mentor. She brings not only her extensive experience and visionary ideas to the table but also a genuine dedication to nurturing the talents within our team.
Company Director - Christian Reid

Christian Reid (he/him)Company Director

Christian Reid, our Co-Artistic Director and Chief Strategy Officer, is the dynamic engine driving the implementation of our strategic vision. With a strong background in both the arts and business, Chris ensures our projects are well executed and align with our long-term goals. His ability to balance creativity with practicality keeps our operations running smoothly and effectively. Known for his attention to detail and unwavering commitment to artistic excellence, Chris is also a team player who brings a collaborative spirit and a knack for solving problems with innovative solutions.
Head of Education & Outreach - Melanie Thompson

As the Head of PR, Melanie Thompson always has her mind on how we can consistently ensure our brand is portrayed in the best light. With her exceptional storytelling skills and strategic insight, Mel expertly manages media relations and ensures that our brand is listening to and resonating positively with our audience. Mel's enthusiasm for her work is infectious, and her ability to connect with people makes her an invaluable ambassador for our company. She brings a unique blend of creativity and ambitious thinking to her role, ensuring that we always shine in the public eye.

Olivia J. Night (they/them)Business Engagement Manager

Olivia J. Night is our dedicated Business Engagement Manager, focusing on building and nurturing connections that enhance our outreach efforts. They are the driving force behind our workshops, business-to-business relationships, and artistic education initiatives. Liv's inclusive approach and commitment to fostering meaningful partnerships make them an essential part of our team. Their passion for the arts and its societal impact is evident in every project they undertake. Their ability to engage and inspire diverse audiences is unparalleled ensuring our outreach programs are impactful and far-reaching.

Chris and Meg from Fleur de Lis Theatre Company gave several absolutely brilliant unarmed stage combat workshops for us at Associated Studios. They are energetic, professional and very positive. The students had a wonderful time and we will definitely ask them to come back.

From the get go, it was a safe and friendly space to play and experiment with ideas in. We got to try lots of different puppetry styles which is a rare opportunity to get. And cost wise it was very good (especially for London). I'd highly recommend to anyone looking for a chance to learn new skills, or play and develop pre-existing skills.
